The HAA Summer league matches are shot between May and September each year and is a way of getting like minded fellow archers from different clubs to meet with a little friendly competition, thrown in. The round that is shot is a Short Metric and is shot at 50m and 30m with 3 dozen arrows at each distance, these are shot on a 80cm face and shot with scoring 1-10.

The league match scoring for on the day is for the top 5 scoring Recurve archers from the club, matched against the opposition, It is preferred all disciplines are shot on the same day , but as Compound and Longbow disciplines are on a postal league, they can also be shot on a nominated club day and scores given to the Match Captain for forwarding, those teams would be top 2 scoring Compound archers and top 3 scoring Longbow archers

All club members are welcome to shoot, no matter the level you think you are at, beginners, novices, Juniors and seasoned archers. We can arrange for Juniors, Beginners and novices to shoot different Short Metrics, such as Short Metric 2 (40m/30m), Short Metric 3 (30m/20m) and a Short Metric 4 (20m/10m), Please contact the Match Captain for more information Contact Us

We have both home and away matches and when we are hosting, we need to provide an afternoon tea our opposing team, for after the match, any donations of food are greatly welcomed and you should contact the Catering Officer (Sandra Jackson) for more information. (there will be a white board in the club hut with a list of required food items).

** IMPORTANT MESSAGE
FOR MEMBERS **

Please be reminded that you MUST carry your Green Dragon membership card and display it on your quiver and display your car badge at all times when you visit the shooting field. Knebworth Estates staff will now check these regularly. Also remember that access for archery members is limited to the huts, the shooting field, and the toilets.
